Best Pizza in Port Douglas

Port Douglas is a paradise for foodies with a range of excellent restaurants and cafes to choose from, including some top-notch pizza spots. Since pizza doesn’t usually make its way to the top of any fine dining review, I thought I’d make a post on some of the best Pizza I’ve discovered in the town:

Chilli’s Pizza

A popular pizza destination for locals and tourists alike. Located just off Macrossan Street on Grant Street, Chilli’s Pizza offers a wide range of gourmet pizzas, from classic Margherita and Pepperoni to more creative combinations like Korean BBQ or Prawn and Chorizo. Their pizzas are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection in a traditional wood-fired oven.

Sassi Cucina

Another great option for pizza lovers. This long time family-owned landmark restaurant has been serving up delicious Italian-style pizzas for over 20 years. Their menu features a range of classic and gourmet pizza options, as well as pasta dishes and salads. Sassi’s Pizza uses only the freshest and finest ingredients and has the authentic Italian touch to ensure that their pizzas are bursting with flavour.

Rattle and Hum

A funky bar and grill that serves up a range of delicious food, including some of the best pizzas in Port Douglas. Their pizzas are made with homemade dough and topped with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic pizza or something a bit more unique, like their Pesto Chicken or Marinated Lamb and Feta pizzas, Rattle and Hum has got you covered.

The Beach Shack

A laid-back pizza spot located just a stone’s throw away from Four Mile Beach. With its stunning beachside theme, The Beach Shack is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious pizza while soaking up the tropical vibes. Their wood-fired pizzas are made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, and their menu features a range of classic and gourmet options. My favourite is Prawn Star, with mushrooms, garlic prawns, rocket and truffle oil!

Port Douglas has some fantastic pizza spots, from the gourmet to the classic, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, these locally owned pizza restaurants are sure to leave you satisfied and eager for more. So go ahead and indulge in some of the best pizzas that Port Douglas has to offer!
